2006 : limited edition brown bear
Stiftung Bär logo.
Maika was born 1992 in the Animal Park Worbis. Aktion Bärenhilfswerk e.V. took over Worbis in 1996 and created the first bear park in Germany. To celebrate 10 years Animal Park Worbis, Kösen has created a limited edition of Maika in high-quality plush. The paws of this plush bear are elaborately embroidered, and each paw has 5 sewn-in claws. The bear is filled with siliconised hollow fibres and granules in a separate pouch. It is washable by hand and comes in a decorative wooden crate.
Enclosed is a drawing of Maika by the designer Annekatrin Mehlan, and like all Kösen limited editions, the bear comes with a numbered certificate for collectors and an invitation to register your acquisition and obtain a free animal.
